EVFC personnel were awakened at 5:30am Thursday morning to a reported house fire on Chestnut St in Everson Borough. EVFC personnel responding to the station confirmed a working fire, and Engine 2 responded with a crew of 6. Engine 2 arrived on scene, confirmed working fire, and made initial entry with the crew finding heavy fire in bedrooms and hallway which had a partial floor. Additional crews from Engine 1, Scottdale VFD, Bullskin Twp VFC, and Connellsville Twp VFC made entry into the basement and into the bedroom areas.
